Privacy policy
What we collect
- Your account: email address, name if you give one, and a hashed password. We never store your password itself.
- What you make in the app: sessions, trades, drawings, setups, notes, journals and the resources you upload. It is yours, visible only to you.
- A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in. It is essential and set only when you sign in.
- Basic server logs (IP address, time, page requested) kept for security and to fix problems, for up to 30 days.
Payments
Premium is sold through a merchant of record, which is the seller for the transaction and handles checkout, card details, invoices and sales tax. We never see or store your card number. We receive your email, the plan and its status so we can switch Premium on and off.
Advertising
Free accounts and the public pages show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings, and read how Google uses data. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before any ad cookie is set. Premium accounts see no ads.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you open, your browser and your approximate location, never the contents of your trades, notes or journal. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it stores nothing until you agree in the consent message.
AI features
Premium's AI features run on models on our own server. The text they read — your journal lessons, setup notes, recent trades — is not sent to a third-party AI provider and is not used to train anyone's model.
Who else sees your data
Only the providers that run the service for us: hosting and backups, email delivery, the payment provider, and Google for ads and analytics. We don't sell your data.
Your choices
- See, correct or export your data, or delete your account and everything in it: email [email protected].
- Deleted accounts are removed from backups within 30 days.
Children
TradeDrill is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect.
